Victoria + Albert Baths could be the best bath in the world. Victoria + Albert Baths is a British brand with a worldwide reputation for creating beautiful freestanding baths and basins.
Formed in 1996 with a passion for baths and bathing, the organisation has a head office in the United Kingdom and dedicated South African production facilities. Today, Victoria + Albert’s international roots fuse together global design, sales and marketing operations with in-house manufacturing to deliver luxurious, lasting products.
As the ultimate statement in quality and style, their model line-up is packed with inspirational free standing designs made from 100% QUARRYCAST™, a blend of Volcanic Limestone™ and high performance resins. Naturally white, each item is individually hand-finished by craftsmen.
From the very first freestanding bath being manufactured in South Africa, Victoria + Albert Baths have strived to become innovative product developers and market leaders within the free standing bath market.
Victoria and Albert baths and basins are perfect for a classical or contemporary bathroom style. Designer Bathrooms Plus service builders and renovators across the Gold Coast and northern rivers area around Byron and Bangalow with a wide range of Victoria and Albert products.
What makes Victoria and Albert baths so special?
Volcanic Limestone™ is Victoria + Albert’s name for the very special white rock that is perfect for making baths and basins.
It is formed when the elemental forces associated with liquid magma act upon surrounding soft, chalky limestone. The immense heat and pressure from the magma transforms the neighbouring rock into a new material made up of incredibly hard strands.
We blend milled Volcanic Limestone™ rock with high quality resins to bind these strands into a complex 3D matrix. The finished result is QUARRYCAST™ – a world class stone composite that delivers unrivalled strength, durability and beauty.
Victoria and Albert Baths also have colour finishes available on some of their baths and basins plus some models have a unique feature where you can mount taps from the bath itself. Talk to a consultant at Designer Bathrooms Plus about these options.
Here are some of the features which make V&A baths so special
What about colours and finish on a Victoria and Albert bath.
All V&A baths are gloss white but there are some options available to those who want to colour their world.
Victoria + Albert’s new Standard Matt finish is different. Made in the cast, not by coatings or glaze, it is ‘100%’ Matt. The surface absorbs and diffuses light, for a calming ambience. It has a velvety feel, gentle against the skin. Crafted from the same Volcanic Limestone™ material as our signature QUARRYCAST™ White gloss finish, the new Standard Matt option is naturally warm and retains the heat of the water. Encouraging you to relax for longer. To feel different.
Our Standard Matt finish is available as a no-cost option across our best-selling baths and basins. Talk to a consultant at Designer Bathrooms Plus about which models are available in mate white.
Personalisation has emerged as the most significant new trend in bathrooms. Leading this trend, Victoria + Albert’s new colour service allows you to personalise the exterior of our freestanding baths and basins to coordinate with the rest of the bathroom design.
Choose from a spectrum of 199 colours, in either gloss or matt. Victoria + Albert use the RAL colour system, so that colours can be easily matched with other décor.
