Lately we’ve been posting a lot about mixing metals in bathroom and kitchen spaces and this seems like a design trend that’s sticking around.
Mixing your finishes, for example, brass and gold or black and stainless can instantly brighten up a space, create depth and open you up to more options with your decorating styles, tiles and paint choices related to bathroom designs.
Mixed metals look both modern and eclectic at the same time.
But though it might seem simple, a lot of people struggle to get the mix just right.
Some things to keep in mind
- Stick to two finishes if you’re working with a small space
- Black never fails to match with all other finishes.
- Less is more
- You can introduce this trend with styling if you already have a one finish space
- This trend can work in any space, bedrooms, lounge room etc.
We’ve pulled together some options of different finishes along with some inspiration images.
